I am so disappointed & likely will not return. At the Los Gatos location, where I have been before & had good experiences with in the past, the company has failed to maintain their equipment. There are two stations & both had issues. On mannequin station A, rescue breathing was very difficult/ not showing my effort up on the screen when I was getting good chest rise on the mannequin. I know this is an area that many people struggle with, but I watched the videos prior to testing & I read the tips on the wall poster. During the two person CPR, I could not get any feedback on the screen for breaths. I closed & restarted multiple times, then I attempted to call for help. The phone number for help goes to a very unhelpful automated messaging system. And RQI answered the phone with a person, but they could not help me. I moved over to station B & successfully got through 2 person CPR testing, but then there were connection issues with the computer & my results were not going through for multiple minutes. I am thankful that I have over a decade of CPR practice & have done this human-less testing before. I also just returned from a 2 week long critical care training where we did 6+ scenarios of codes on mannequins with similar feedback technology. I want to strongly advocate for anyone that might be new to this kind of testing & feel awful for failing in a situation that is not their fault. Especially for the price, the lack of maintenance is unacceptable & needs to be addressed. Oh, and the hallway entrance was creepy.

The written and practical portions were well done. The registration seems out of order asking to register for the practical before you register and purchase the on line education. It is only after you register for both that you find out how long the written/online portion is supposed to take. Registering for the on line and knowing how many hours it takes would help in knowing when to schedule the practical test. Especially if you are in a short time window to get it done.

Ambu masks were leaking air and every time I would press it was overinflated or deflated less tha needed . 3 out of 4 were lose . same as adult manekins . I was veey frustrated that I had to spend so much time in the room, at the end I gave up and left . I stayed 2 hr , pushing like in idiot . I wish we can have normal live instructor class. I have BLC and ACLS certification over 10 years now and was never this hard. It wasnt my knowledge it was just crazy annoying to do ig on sensitive computer attached manekins . And Yes I dodnt know I can adjust the room temperature myself so I was completely wet frok physical Compressions

Overall it was a good experience. At the beginning it was very confusing with the virtual assistant’s instructions ( CLEARER instructions BEFORE starting needed on how EXACTLY two rescuer system works with virtual assistant. This way, it won’t take multiple times to do the round unless that was intentional. Overall, it was good.
